Extension between the Alvar Aalto Museum and the Museum of Central Finland
The design originates from a contextual strategy that encompasses the formal focal points and the cultural heritage of Alvaro Alto. The extension is characterized by a roof shell, which is designed to represent spatial elements inspired from the ars poetica of Alvaro Aalto. This meta resonant roof shell composition creates the sensual and physical connection to its surrounding.
